christmas day at midday, manchester city centre

a blissfully quiet city centre, on a corner in the heart of manchester's regenerated shopping district. after the area was devastated by an IRA bomb in 1996 the buildings around the former corn exchange were radically redeveloped. this end of cross street overlooks the newly revamped arndale centre, the printworks, urbis, the triangle, exchange square (complete with seasonal ferris wheel) and selfridges.
