shudehill exchange

a view over manchester's night skyline from the car park roof of the shudehill exchange.
this shimmering glass exchange was designed by ian simpson architects (see urbis and the beetham tower) and acts as a tranpsort interchange for cars, trams and bus. the spiral shape of the arndale centre carpark makes a strong focus as it disgorges traffic.
