this is a view of the recent residential developments creeping out from the city centre. the location is the bridgewater canal, just on the other side of the inner relief road from castlefield. this shot captures the urban splash-developed box works and timber wharf apartments, their distinctive futuristic sales office on stilts, and other new landmarks pointing into the night sky. an almost full moon is rising over the city, while the last light fades over old trafford stadium.
